2014 Snowshoe Hike

Aldo Leopold Audubon Society and the Portage County Ice Age Trail snowshoers enjoyed the fresh snowfall on January 18 at Skunk and Foster Lakes State Natural Area. There were 30 persons signed in. Some explored on their own with maps. Due to the recent snow, the trees and landscape were a "Winter Wonderland." We finished with hot chocolate, apple juice and cookies at the trail head. -- Ruth Sommers. Photos by Tom Ordens.
